“Solitude is the human condition in which I keep myself company. Loneliness comes about when I am alone without being able to split up into the two-in-one, without being able to keep myself company.” —Hannah Arendt (via daytripped)

“Routine, repetition, tedium, monotony, ephemeracy, inconsequence, abstraction, disorder, boredom, angst, ennui - these are the true hero’s enemies. And make no mistake, they are fearsome indeed, for they are real.” —Advance Tax Substitute Teacher, The Pale King, David Foster Wallace (via kateoplis)

“I suppose people can go through an entire lifetime without questioning God and a religion that they were born into (out of no choice of their own), especially if it doesn’t have much of a say in their lives. If you live in France or Britain, there may never be a need to renounce God actively or come out as an atheist. But when the state sends a “Hezbollah” (the generic term for Islamist) to your school to ensure that you don’t mix with your friends who are boys, stops you from swimming, forces you to be veiled, deems males and females separate and unequal, prescribes different books for you and your girlfriends from those read by boys, denies certain fields of study to you because you are female, and starts killing indiscriminately, then you have no choice but to question, discredit and confront it - all of it. And that is what I did.” —“Why I Don’t Believe”, Maryam Namazie (Iran), human rights activist (via kateoplis)

“We on earth marvel, and rightfully so, at the daily return of our single sun. But from a planet orbiting a star in a distant globular cluster, a still more glorious dawn awaits. Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise. A morning filled with 400 billion suns, the rising of the milky way. An enormous spiral form with collapsing gas clouds condensing planetary systems, luminous super giants, stable middle aged stars, red giants, white dwarfs, planetary nebulas, super novas, neutron stars, pulsars, black holes, and, there is every reason to think, other exotic objects that we have not yet discovered.” —Carl Sagan (via cwnl)

“You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.” —J.Krishnamurti (via daytripped)

“I learned…that inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic striving, but it comes into us slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness.” —Brenda Ueland (via daytripped)

“Yes, life is pointless, but there is no point in looking at it that way, it’s so detrimental to our existence. Why must it have a purpose in order for us to enjoy it? Better to leave the purpose of life alone and instead find the beauty of it.” —(via cwnl)

“Being unready and ill-equipped is what you have to expect in life. It is the universal predicament. It is your lot as a human being to lack what it takes. Circumstances are seldom right. You never have the capacities, the strength, the wisdom, the virtue you ought to have. You must always do with less than you need in a situation vastly different from what you would have chosen.” —Charlton Ogburn (via daytripped)

Osho's Ten Commandments

daytripped:

  1. Never obey anyone’s command unless it is coming from within you also.
  2. There is no God other than life itself.
  3. Truth is within you, do not search for it elsewhere.
  4. Love is prayer.
  5. To become a nothingness is the door to truth. Nothingness itself is the means, the goal and attainment.
  6. Life is now and here.
  7. Live wakefully.
  8. Do not swim—float.
  9. Die each moment so that you can be new each moment.
  10. Do not search. That which is, is. Stop and see.

I am the name and form; manifestation of my dreams - my wishes & my wisdom

Ancient dust is my skin

 primordial Love is my blood

the original fruit; my lips

the original bite; my kiss

I am not God; nor am I an angel;

I am simple light through the filters of my crystal eyes projected amongst the midst of the sky.

I am

A human

Being

 breathing ;for my unborn child

In a friendship → cwnl.tumblr.com

cwnl:

In a friendship, I want to be around people who are themselves. People who are so grounded with who they are that they don’t allow people and places to be the only aspects that change who they are. Because if I’ve learned anything, those are the people who are least likely to be who they say the are. In a friendship, I want the things that matter to be the things that matter. Not petty arguments and blame games. A friendship can be so much more than just joking around and experiencing life together. It ought to also be, a learning experience. If you have a friend you can learn and grow with, I say you cherish that. Not everyone has a genuine friend who you can learn valuable lessons with, educate you, apply all of the important aspects of life into that friendship out of sheer interest in seeing how well you can do for yourself and vice versa. You too have to give this kind of aura back. It’s a two way street. In a world of disasters, madness, opposition to rationality, it’s one of the many important things in life you ought to know. Not to say a person shouldn’t learn to live and love life on their own, but knowing you aren’t alone in this story, knowing you aren’t the only one and others relate to you can be just as empowering as your own thoughts.

“What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected.” —Chief Seattle (via slychedelic)
